Muran Veniszee was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot (a congenital heart defect) at birth and underwent two open heart surgeries by the age of 6. In 2009 Muran went through a life changing event when he was found collapsed in his college dorm. Only 3% of his heart was working and he had to receive a heart transplant. At the age of 28 Muran received a new heart and liver. After the transplants were complete and Muran was discharged, he began his dream of starting a non-profit organization to provide people with the support, education, and knowledge that he had been yearning for throughout his experience. Hearts N Hand was founded to be the inspiration, hope, and dedication that everyone is entitled to.
